0167 - Richmond County 4-H Small Animal Club
Description
Small Animal Club is open to Richmond County youth in 4th through 12th grades during the 2024-2025 school year. Members will learn basic skills about caring for a small pet at each meeting. Throughout the year, members will be introduced to various small animals. Small Animal Club will meet one Saturday per month in September, October, November, January, February, March, and May, 10:00am-11:00am at 736 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901, in Saint John United Methodist Church. All members are required to enroll in Richmond County 4-H and pay a $10.00 registration fee to participate in Small Animal Club. Requirements
Only current Richmond County 4-H youth should be registered for this event. If you are not from Richmond County, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
