0168 - Richmond County 4-H Fishing Club
Description
Richmond County 4-H Fishing Club is open to Richmond County youth in 4th through 12th grades during the 2025-2026 school year. No experience is necessary. We will learn about different local species and basic fishing steps. Fishing Club will meet one Saturday per month, 8:00am-11:00am at Spirit Creek Farm, 4010 Smokey Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. Fishing Club will meet in September, October, November, January, February, March, April and May, except for cancellations due to inclement weather. Before attending a Fishing Club meeting, participants must pay a $10.00 registration fee and return the signed Spirit Creek Farm Liability Waiver to uge3245f@uga.edu and sandihoc@uga.edu. Only current Richmond County 4-H youth should be registered for this event. If you are not from Richmond County, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
- The Spirit Creek Farms Liability Waiver.
