Description

Richmond County 4-H Fishing Club is open to Richmond County youth in 4th through 12th grades during the 2023-2024 school year. No experience is necessary. We will learn about different local species and basic fishing steps. The first Fishing Club meeting will be held Saturday, September 23rd, at Spirit Creek Farm, 4010 Smokey Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. The fishing club will meet one Saturday per month starting in September 2023 and meet through May 2024, except for cancellations due to inclement weather. Before attending a Fishing Club meeting, participants must pay a $10.50 registration fee and return a signed waiver to uge3245f@uga.edu and sandihoc@uga.edu. Please feel free to contact Sandi Hockenberry at sandihoc@uga.edu for more information about Fishing Club or details about an upcoming meeting.

Requirements

Only current Richmond County 4-H youth should be registered for this event. If you are not from Richmond County, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
