0295 - Junior Camp at Burton 4-H Center
Description
Junior Camp at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island is a week-long camp for current 7th and 8th graders. Junior Campers will experience beach and marsh ecology activities, interactions with crabs and other area critters, plus a Savannah River dinner cruise and tours of Fort Pulaski and the Tybee Island Lighthouse. Cost includes lodging, meals, transportation and a swim shirt. $75 non-refundable deposit is due no later than March 27, 2024. Limited spots available. Final camp payment is due by May 10, 2024.Location
Burton 4-H Center is located in Tybee Island, GA; however, transportation is coordinated by the local Extension office.Requirements
Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
