Description
Senior Camp at Wahsega 4-H Center in the North Georgia Mountains is a week-long camp for current 9th through 12th graders. Senior Camp activities provide learning experiences in all of Georgia 4-H's focus areas - Healthy Living, Agriculture and STEM, and Civic Engagement, and promote the development of leadership skills, and encourage community service, all in a fun and active camping environment. Cost includes transportation, lodging, meals, game room activities, tubing, and field day activities in the North Georgia Mountains. $75 non-refundable deposit is due no later than March 27, 2024. Limited spots available. Final camp payment is due by May 10, 2024.Location
Wahsega 4-H Center is located in Dahlonega, GA; however, transportation will be managed by the local Extension office.Requirements
Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
