0344 - Senior Camp at Wahsega (9th-12th graders)
Description
4-H Senior Camp is open to all Walton County 9th & 12th graders and will be held at the Wahsega 4-H Center from July 1st -5th, 2024. Activities include tubing trip, game room, field day activities and dining at the University of North Georgia Campus all while enjoying the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Transportation TBD. Additional details and packing information will be emailed to parents.
Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need. Contact Walton County 4-H Office for scholarship Application. If you would like to apply, register your child following regular camp sign-up procedures There will be a $75.00 camp deposit. After registration and deposit is complete, scholarship applications should be submitted to 4-H/Extension Staff.

Requirements
Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.

• There is a doctor’s note excusing the camper due to illness/injury.
• There is a death in the immediate family.
• Other extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
