Description

4-H Junior Camp is open to all Walton County 7th & 8th graders and will be held at the Burton 4-H Center, Tybee Island from June 3rd – 7th, 2024. Activities and classes will emphasize Marine & Coastal Ecology. Activities include Riverboat Dinner Cruise, River Street Trolley, Tybee Lighthouse Tour & Beach Swim. Transportation TBD. Additional details and packing information will be emailed to parents.

Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need. Contact Walton County 4-H Office for scholarship Application. If you would like to apply, register your child following regular camp sign-up procedures There will be a $75.00 camp deposit. After registration and deposit is complete, scholarship applications should be submitted to 4-H/Extension Staff.

Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.

Refund Policy

$75 deposit is required and non refundable.
UGA Refund Policy:
Refunds for Camp fees will only be given for the following reasons:
• There is a doctor’s note excusing the camper due to illness/injury.
• There is a death in the immediate family.
• Other extenuating circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
