Description
Richmond County 4-H Gardening Club
Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of the youth gardening is to introduce gardening , conservation, protection of wildlife, recognition of plants, trees, and shrubs, basic flowering, and a love and appreciation of nature.
The goal is that they will be future citizens who will be responsible and capable with greater self-expression, dignity, integrity , and knowledge of their environment.
We are dedicated to growing minds in a stimulating, secure, and privileged environment through our high-quality, early-learning enrichment classes prior to planting any seeds.
Richmond County 4-H Gardening Club is open to 4th-12th grade students who are interested in learning more about gardening and pollinators. The club is led by Augusta Area Master Gardener, Ms. Joy Brown. The club meets once a month on a Saturday morning, 8:30am-10:00am, at 2473 Golden Camp Rd., Augusta, GA. A participation fee of $3.00 is due for each participant, once per school year. Contact Pam Crawford at pamela.crawford@uga.edu for more information.
