Description
Marine Resources Camp aka Junior Beach Camp will be held June 8-12, 2026 at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island, GA. This camp is open to youth who were enrolled in 7th or 8th grade during the 2025-2026 School Year. We will have a male and female chaperone from Tattnall County this year. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due for campers at time of registration.
There will be an option to register as a scholarship applicant without the initial deposit. Due to extremely high demand for this camp, we will NOT be able to hold a space for your child without a deposit. Scholarships will be provided without deposit only if scholarship application is completed by February 14th AND additional spaces become available. Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.
After registration, the following forms are required for participation.
- The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
- Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
- The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
