0725 - Richmond County 4-H Sewing Club Beginner and Intermediate Workshop

Description

Beginner workshop participants will learn how to mend a hole in their clothes, sew on a button, pick out the best fabric to use for a project, and use a sewing machine to create a pillow or utility apron. Intermediate workshop participants who attended the Part 1 Workshop in the Fall of 2025 will review basic skills and use a sewing machine to create a bucket hat.

Basic sewing supplies will be provided. Ages 8 to 18 are welcome to participate! Limited to the first 10 participants to register.

**Registered participants should attend all 3 sessions.**

Requirements

Only current 4-H youth in this county should be registered for this event. If you are not from this county, please contact your local Extension office for more information regarding 4-H programming in your area.

After registration, the following forms are required for participation.

The Georgia 4-H Medical Information and Release Form should be completed before this activity. This form allows you to share important information with us so we can provide the best care for your child.
Should any medication be required during the activity, the Georgia 4-H Medicine Form and the medication should be given to the Extension chaperone upon arrival.
The Georgia 4-H Code of Conduct establishes guidelines for expected behavior standards and consequences of misbehavior.
